Valentine's Day Contest!

Rules

Theme
Valentine's Day - Draw your favorite RW/YST character in a Valentine's Day scene!

What the picture must have.
1. At least one of the characters from the series. The character can be one of the major characters or a character from one of the OVAs. It doesn't matter just as long as the character is from the series.

What the picture can have.
1. A background. It can be simple, but no plain white backgrounds.

2. The picture can contain shounen-ai and/or shoujo-ai. You can do yuri and yoai as well, but keep it under control.

3. Crossovers are fine. Be it parings, or the characters are just simple hanging out together.

What the picture can not have/be.
1.OCs. You may pair up your OC with one of the characters from the series.

2. You can not reuse an old picture. The picture you submit must be new, as in you have created after the date this journal was created. Please no gore or extreme violence.

3. The picture must be 100% yours. No bases, or collabs of any kind. You must draw and color the picture yourself from start to finish.

Poems and short stories will also be allowed. If you would like to write a poem or short story for this theme that's fine, just as long as it has something to do with one of the characters from the series steampunk.

Additional Rules:
1. You have to be a member to enter. If you're not one you can't submit to the gallery.

2. The picture can be traditional or digital. It doesn't matter, just as long as it's not black and white.

3. You may submit up to two pictures. However, they will be counted as one entry.

4. You may submit up to two written works. However, they will be counted as one entry.

5. You may submit both a picture and a written piece. However, they will be counted as one entry!
A. If enough written works are enter, a separate section will be made for them. Prizes may also change if this occurs.

6. You may change your entry. If yo do not like the entry that you have submitted, and have a new one please submit it to the folder titled "Contest Entries" and send me a message letting me know that you would like to change your entry.

7. When you're finished with your entry just submit it the folder titled "Contest Entries". I will accept it and add it to the journal.
A. Please also include in your entry that it is a contest piece for this group.

Prizes
I can't offer you guys much , since I'm only one person, but maybe someone could donate some prizes to the contest like: features, a drawing, etc. that would be very much appreciated.

Anyone who donates a prize can still enter the contest.

The winning entry will be the featured deviation.

First place
Max one character, knees-up or full-body, colored picture from aoi-ryu
Seven pics (Winner's choice) from his/her gallery will be featured in aoi-ryu's journal.

Second place
Max one character, waist up or headshot, colored picture from aoi-ryu
Five pics (Winner's choice) from his/her gallery will be featured in aoi-ryu's journal.

Third place
Max one character, chibi, colored picture from :deaoi-ryu:
Three pics (Winner's choice) from his/her gallery will be featured in aoi-ryu's journal.

PLEASE NOTE: The prizes will go like this.

First place only: 1-7 entries
First and Second places only: 8-14 entries
All three: 15+ entries
